I recognize that everyone has problems in life, but sometimes it feels like I have more than my fair share of them.

But that's one thing I never mean to do
Despite any problems or difficulties I may face, I never intend to take it out on others or cause them harm.

I want others to recognize that I'm not perfect, and I have flaws and limitations just like any other human being.

I'm not immune to making mistakes or having faults, and I'm not better or worse than anyone else because of it.

But sometimes I find myself alone regretting
There may be times when I feel alone and regretful about things I've said or done in the past.

Some little thing; some foolish thing that I have done
These regrets may stem from something small or seemingly insignificant that I did or said, but that still bothers me.

Don't let me be misunderstood
I hope that others can understand where I'm coming from and not misinterpret my words or actions.

I'm just someone whose intentions are good
No matter what mistakes I may make or negative emotions I may feel, I truly strive to be a good person and have good intentions.
