Ras al Ghul instead of using the Lazarus pit, is just some ordinary guy who you thought was dead but was actually the wrong guy. Joker was just a stereotypical post 9/11 terrorist type character in edgy makeup instead of actually acting and looking like Joker. Bane, holy shit don't even get me started there. And Batman couldn't stick to his no killing rule, whereas Keaton never claimed to have a no killing rule to break, he was more like the original comic run of Batman where he killed left and right. Michael Keaton is the best Batman and Jack Nicholson is the best Joker. YOUR nostalgia is going hard, because the Dark Knight trilogy literally came out when I (and probably you too) was a kid so I can literally say that same thing to you, doofus.

I wish this was the version we got in 2017. I would have gladly sat through all of that in the big screen. I still remember my disappointment when seeing the cellphone footage. The opening scene alone in this version would have given me goosebumps in the theater, let alone the ending(s).

When this movie came out. I ran a little watch party at my house with my co-workers, and we all agreed we absolutely loved it. And this is by far yet my favorite movie of all time. Its an absolutely masterpiece, every second of it. Even if there is never a sequel, its a perfect cinematic experience!

This film showed me Zack Snyder wasn’t a style over substance director and it had me see him in a new light, it also showed me that he had what WB lacks: A plan and Endgame for this universe and it’s characters that we’ll sadly never see. Especially since 2023’s Flash film is supposed to retcon all of Zack Snyder’s movies, replace Henry Cavill’s sinfully unused Superman with Sasha Calle’s Supergirl and replace Ben Affleck’s Batman with Michael Keaton’s Batman when Barry fixes the timeline.

Zack's Justice League was the movie we deserved. It's the best DC Comic Book Movie ever alongside The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, and Joker.

Zack is not a perfect director, but he is definitely a man who knows how to make grand epics and make you feel like a hero in every god damn shot.

I Hope for him to direct more DCEU films, and continue the Man of Steel Trilogy.

20/10, why? Because this movie makes Avengers look like a Illumination film.

Zack Snyder is one of the most amazing directors I have seen. He did Justice League a great honor. I wish he could do all the superhero films because they and Zack were clearly made for each other. His talent is beyond the box and simply breathtaking! He brought comics to life so incredibly well, and he is a true visionary!

This movie even restored Wonder Woman's reputation after the train wreck of WW84. I wish Zack had directed that instead. I remember how disappointed I was after WW84. I didn't like Wonder Woman anymore after that. She was so strangely out of character and out of place.

But I rewatched Just League directed by Zack, and although it's very long, I loved it all over again! All those little hints of where future movies could go were so exciting!

Zack, thank you for this masterpiece! I wish you could continue it, but I am so grateful to have experienced at least this much. You are a brilliant director! You have honored these heroes with an incredible talent that is so rare in these times! Bravo!!! I can't love this movie enough!

I was only so-so on MOS and BvS. I think they were too dark and violent and misunderstood the appeal of both heroes. But this cut of Justice League has more humor, more heart, and less gratuitous violence, while still preserving Snyder's style. It's like he was able to integrate all of the (justified) criticism his first two movies received. If this could be how DC goes forward, that would be great.

I concur. But I think MoS and BvS were rooted in the real world. Our world. And gave us a microscopic lens into how humans revere power and myths. Very true to life. I think the only thing lacking in both films is not enough simple human moments. The plots were too big. Thats my biggest gripe with snyder films. We just need more moments for the main characters to be simple emotional human beings. The rest falls into place. Hes a great director tho

@@lilbrandon1987 so from my understanding it was about the producers taking risks. No one knew Iron man would be a think. Producers didn't want to back John Favreau, it went well then they had the Avengers. With DC competing they had to force almost 4 movies worth of Plot in just one movie which was Batman V Superman. It has its issues, not going to talk on it much but I actually think it has a really really good argument for doing everything it was suppse to. Let Luther knew his enemy's name, Bat and Sup were friends. A lot actually was wrapped up by the ending of that movie.

Here's the anwser to your question from that. When V Superman was made it flopped. True fans saw the potential even if it wasn't the best movie but Media got ahold of the Naritive because of that they backed out of the original script for Suicide Squad and completely changed the movie. One decision after another they pu r millions into failing projects. Because of this the world got upset and they released the Snyder cut as a gift. Something to make us happy. It back fired because for am entire Year Warner Brothers offices were berated by overwhelming hate. I think Suder cut is too long but it did do a better job in the scenes that mattered in my opinion.

Because of the public back lash they completely scrapped everything and went to make Black Adam the new super villian. But then Adam Flopped. They only did it because the Rock was popular. Then they lost Cavil. So idk man.

And they lost way too much money in their own clean up of the sittuation then just taking the risk in the first place. I think for the next 10 years it's all done. New stories and New heros will come out eventually but the story lines we know will be done and forgotten.

Greatest Superhero movie, what a achievement and masterpiece. I'm so glad Zack Snyder got to make his vision of his movie.

I bought this, and watched it, and as a writer myself, I found this very scary, but not why you may think. I noticed a repeating theme throughout this script, of anger, angry at my mommy, angry at my dad, rebellion against my planet, many of them harboring negative energies, Aqua-kid (I'll call him a man when he acts like one) was the MOST insecure and untrustworthy of the bunch. This movie was like watching a room filled with pre-teens, battling their inner emotions, but with superhuman powers, scary.

I enjoyed seeing Wonder Woman deflect bullets in the extended scene! And seeing the Flash save Iris with his superspeed! And seeing Aquaman fight the insectoid aliens! Batman was amazing in his batmobile!

FINALLY got around to purchasing this. I'm not a D.C. movie fan by any means, but this is the best Snyder flick since his unforgettable interpretation of 'Watchmen'. Wow...just, WOW!
