@Sean I think that's not possible or at least not a good idea. Snyder's movies are a bit complex and a bit dark which suits good for DC but not really for current Marvel movies or at least those which are intended to join MCU. Also his movies I like the most are not good to fit in the current superhero genre..

It was one of those things that didn't make sense until all the films were realeased. Snyder had a very specific view and able to tie a bow on everything and you can see all the connections that tie neatly together.

@JB 57551 Darn. I really wanted to see an Under the Red Hood adaptation or even at least the first part of that movie (with Joker killing Jason Todd) was a great idea to start BVS. I always thought going that route instead of the origin story would've been a wiser choice. Watchmen is a stone cold classic. In years to come, when we look back on the past 15 years, Watchmen will be re-appraised as one of the best hero movies. It's a marvel that he captured so much story so effectively in one movie. Marvel would take 3 movies to do the same job. It's in my Top Three movies of all time. And I, like most here, have seen an awful lot of good movies.

@Rick Burton I know that and Nolan was never planned to be the leader of DCEU whatsoever, he produced MOS because he pitched a Superman idea to Warner Bros and he hired Snyder to direct the movie based on thr story he co-wrote with David S. Goyer. Nolan said that his DC days is over and his best thing that can do is just support whatever they have to offer including Robert Pattinson as Batman, simple as that

@Theo8176 I agree, but it sometimes still feels a bit bland and unrelatable. I think cyborg and flash really carried the movie, if it weren’t for those 2 I don’t think I would’ve sit trough the first half. The end battle is really really good as well.

@SimonUser I think that's the most positive part of the movie. yes he take it very seriously but also put some light humour inside as well which not only works but also it feels great to be honest. I can't speak for your opinion as all movies are subjective but I think it works very well because it's like even small thing can make you smile in darker time (in this case, the heroes are feeling hopeless but we also can relate somethings to them. Not sure about you but an example that when Batman saying that his trying to put together a team was because of Superman, I can relate to part of it or when Cyborg appears to not like his father but still saved him because no matter what, he still is his father I can relate to that. Basically the humour are what makes them so much more relatable.)

Snyder did an amazing job with Watchmen, one of my favorite movies. Don't know why people are complaining about the ending with the bomb, it made much more sense in a live aciton movie. Love Snyder's movies
