thats a normal age to get your period. most girls get i between the ages of 7-13. I got mine a 9, an im 21 now with no babies. A lot of girls getting pregnant early falls down to parenting and trusting the wrong family members around them.

I had my first child at the age of 15 and my 2nd child at 17. I had 2 child by the time I graduated from high school. Now today I'm a Registered Nurse with my BSN. My oldest daughter is a license practical nurse and is half way through RN school. My youngest is finishing up school by becoming a Veterinarian technician. She has to do 180 hours of preceptor ship to graduate and is now 30 hours away from her goal. To be a teenage mother, I think I did a good job.

He was interested in her, I saw that and I talked to him about it also talked to her. They had dated in secret, behind my back and I naturally was livid when I found out. I did everything to stop them from going any further. I have a really soft spot for that certain sister and when we had a fight about their relationship, she told me how much she hated me for coming between her and her "love". I was deeply hurt and I backed off. What I feared happened shortly after. He knocked her up and ran. Why is it that in certain countries there is no consensus for the parents of the little children becoming parents?? I know this also happens in America but it seems its almost glorified in some of the other countries.

The 5 year old baby was raised as her brother until they told him when he was 10 years old. She did name him I believe tho after the dr who delivered him by c-section if I remember that part correctly. He died at 40 in 1979. She’s 87 today turning 88 in September

I met a young girl once that had a one year old baby and she was only 13. She was with her mother aka the grandmother and I told that young girl in a very serious and stern voice to kiss, hug and thank her mother daily for helping her and being there to support her and her child. I didn't ask the deets if the girl was molested or if the father was someone close in age to her. Regardless she was one blessed cookie to have such a caring and supportive mom. You hit the nail right on the head. I was 20 when I had my son and I think my mother every time she did anything for me and my son I was very thankful for my mother. When my sister had her third child I became her live-in nanny for four months I took care of her older two children in the morning and the other one at night when he got up so she could get some rest she tells me now he is 18 that she was so thankful for me. I also took care of her youngest when she was two to the time she was eight I got her on the bus I took care of her in the mornings and let my sister sleep in and then I would go to bed early at 9 o’clock with her and we’d get up early in the morning together love Her so much she is 14 now and she is my heart!

I was actually impressed with the second girl who had the little boy with Down syndrome, at such a young, immature age, most girls would not want to deal with such a responsibility, I’m so glad she never gave up on that precious child. I was 14 and my daughter is now 14 years old. I raised her very well , she is a high honor student and will graduate high school early ❤️ don’t judge too harshly. I’m sure these babies didn’t want babies so young but I give props to any young mom that makes a way for herself and child. I just graduated college as well with high honors and I am very proud of where I am today

My sister got pregnant at 13 and had my niece when she was 14 years 4 months old. Sadly she wasn’t a good mom and allowed my niece to be sexually abused as well as she did it also. It makes me sick! My niece was adopted at 5 years old and came back into my life at 16 years old. My sister OD’d on pain pills and died. I am now her acting mother and she is such an amazing 25 year old mother. She gave me 2 grandbabies and I am just so proud of who she turned into. She is a strong woman that refuses to be a bad mom! She and my 3 boys are my life! I started educating my kids about sex at a very young age, especially my daughter. That was one cycle that was broken. All my kids graduated with no children. I'll take that win especially since our county has the highest pregnancy rate in Florida.

@MidniteFox I do understand what you saying but my mom taught me and my siblings at a young age about sex as well. And she did that because she wanted us to know the information early so no one can say otherwise. Also my mom came from a family with teenage mothers and by the grace of God she broke the cycle by not falling into the same steps her family did. So I believe that if parents would talk to children about sex at a early age it would help them in the long run in life but at the same time all households are raised differently so it depends on that as well.

A lot of girls that give birth at a young age end up needing bladder surgery later. A lot of them end up becoming incontinent due to their bodies not being fully ready to carry a baby. I know in India there are young woman shun due to the incontinence and have to have surgery to correct it.

I got pregnant at 18 but didn't wanna b a mother, coz I'd finished high school and was starting university, but my mother wouldve thrown me out of home if I had gone threw with the abortion. But now my 22yo daughter just gave me my 1st grand baby & I'm young enough to really enjoy being a grandma. I got cervical cancer at 18 lost most of my uterus at 21 so was lucky to have a 2nd daughter b4 that, coz I have been able to get pregnant many times, only to always loose the babies coz of not having a uterus to carry them in & their placentas beening attached to my scar tissue. I it seemed like everything came preprogrammed, I breast fed because I didn’t know how to sterilize bottles. There was no such thing as disposable diapers and wipes to use either.

15 yes old, in my world this is normal I was a mother at 15 may 06, 1995 I was born may 06, 1980. Basically the summer after my freshman high yr & entering my sophomore year 10th grade Mt son was going on 3 months cause he was born June 20, 1995. True I was the only girl my age in my school with a big belly due to pregnancy yet it was other girls whom was pregnant dropped out. Oh my grandma was 12 when she had my uncle stillborn,following my aunt and then my mom all 3 kids before 15 years old, my son is now 26 years old living in l.a. @Kim Yes you can... my situation was like this when I was young. I was 5 or 6 and whenever my mother would give me a bath, my breast hurt bad whenever she touched even the slightest touch hurt badly.
Luckily, by God's grace and mercy, a random friends of her called and they started talking and her daughter had the same problem as me. She was about to hit puberty. My mom took me to the doctor, I believe I was 6, and doctor said in another 6 months or so I was going to get my period!

Luckily again, my mom took medications that delayed my period each time and allowed me, my height to grow.

So yes, young people can have periods at a young age. I got mine at the end of 6th grade fortunately. Maybe it was some abnormality when I was born. Who knows.
