If it's all about the legal system, shouldn't the fact that a man whose career has just been destroyed by an article DIDN'T sue for libel be just as indicative of what happened as criminal charges not being filed?

Do you know how hard it is to prove something didn’t happen 20 years ago? For Callen it would largely be a case of his word against hers, over something that allegedly happened 2 decades ago with no witnesses. And it’s his burden of proof in court.

Defamation suits are crazy expensive and they're rarely one even under the best circumstances. And as and advertiser it really only matters if people are listening. Also anyone can make allegations about anyone. Zero proof is required. If there was evidence or even actual charges filed I would probably feel differently but there's none.

In Callena case he’s built up a brand and the media company they sold the show too is not allowing him back on set and he’s desperately trying to get back some of his viewership with bullshit podcasts with Sam Tripoli and now with all the crazy shit he’s said with the added heat from this accusation stuff it’s unlikely that Will Sasso will want to pair up again so he basically need to start from scratch.

And I'm not sure if you've been paying attention but this cancel culture stuff is really keeping people from getting work anywhere. Not just in TV but anywhere. People that get called out get fired from normal jobs all the time now. People that aren't in the public eye and they complain about not being able to be hired again for years for Karen video type stuff. You just make it sound like he's not gonna suffer a setback here.
