On the Album, Aren sings main songs about his relationship to his Dad, Karekin Emirze, who died unexpected, on May 9th in 2003. On the AGKOD Album, Aren invited several music friends for the recordings; playing Piano, a Cello or singing duett with him, like his brother Saro did.
An old Tape from his Dad, recorded in the Kitchen of Arens Childhood Home, is one of the Highlights of this outstanding Album.
During Arens career; which started at the end of the 1980`s with a Band named INTO THE VOID, where Aren and his mates reproduced Metal Songs, such as from Black Sabbath, Prong, etc., Karekin was,in most of the times around. He had a very intense and emotional influence on his son, giving him the space to do, what Aren wanted to do and helping him, to go this way.
ITV was in 1991, the source for changing their Bands Name into HARMFUL. Arens Bandmates from ITV, except the former Singer stayed the same. Being Nico Heimann on Drums and Chris Aidonopoulos on Bass
In 2006, they are still in Rock Business and recorded, a few weeks ago, their 7 th Album called "7",which will be released in February 2007. On this new Album, BILLY GOULD (Faith No More) was the main producer who got even, last week ago, the new Bandmember (2nd Guitar) for their next Years TOUR (www.Harmfulweb.com) throughout Germany and Austria.
Aren was even one of the founders of German Lyric Hardcore Band RINDERWAHNSINN, which toured Germany for over 12 Years, recording 4 Albums.
A GENTLE KIND OF DESASTER Shows us a new musical Spectrum of Aren. Here, his Armenien Roots explode into a goosebumping accoustic spectacle, where not to much singer/songwriters have a key to, writing songs like Aren did.
Overcome
emirsian Lyrics

But no one hears the fall
Every time you laugh it hurts me now
I try to overcome
A year has past and I can still taste it
A salty drop in your eyes
I always wanted to be
A never ending circumstance
Do you still blame me for the lies you’re meant to erase
What was should have been more
We both know it was so much more…
We knew it was so much more…
The lyrics in emirsian’s song “Overcome” delve into the complexities of a relationship that has come to an end. The singer reflects on the conversations they had with their partner, spending hours on the phone, yet despite these talks, the relationship failed to last. The singer mentions the pain caused by hearing their partner’s laughter and the difficulties in trying to move on. They describe the lingering taste of their partner’s tears that they’re still compelled to taste. The lyrics convey a sense of longing for what could have been and for a love that is no longer attainable.
The lyrics also touch on the idea of blame within the relationship. The singer asks whether their partner still blames them for the lies that led to the breakup. There is a sense that the relationship could have been more, and both parties knew it. The use of repetitive phrases like “so much more” highlights the idea that there was potential for something greater, but the lies became too much to bear. Overall, the lyrics in “Overcome” convey a sense of loss and longing for a love that has ended, leaving the singer searching for closure.
