1. From was a very obscure jazz-fusion band from southern Germany, with a penchant for jamming, for long tracks and Miles Davis styled riffing.
2. From is an LA wonderpop band founded by singer/writer/producer Roni Brunn. The lineup features Paul Best on guitar, Nick Bond on keyboards, Rodrigo Nunes on drums, and Valerie Ngai on bass.
From debuted with The American EP in 2006. The 6 track release was received with critical praise, and Brunn was eclectically compared to Nico, The Cure, and Madonna. The video for "American Girl" debuted in YouTube's top 40. In 2007, From released a single featuring a cover of R.E.M.'s "Fall on Me" as well as an acoustic version of its song "American Girl."
Later that year, Brunn relocated to Stockholm, Sweden, where she recruited musicians for a live band. In 2008, she moved back to Beverly Hills, where she completed The Band From's first full length album.
Brunn grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel, attended high school in Beverly Hills, and graduated Harvard University with a major in economics. After college, she launched a line of high end handbags that sold in exclusive shops around the world and appeared in top fashion magazines, including Vogue, InStyle, and Marie Claire. In 2002, she created Math-Club, an organization that puts on recreational math events as documented in Time Magazine, Wired, and NPR. In her work as a web developer, she created sites for Ringo Starr and Justin Timberlake. She is a self taught musician who writes, performs, and produces all the tracks for The Band From.

That's just something only he would do
Now he's gone in a haze, alright
So here's what we gonna do
He's been on something lately
Maybe talking to somebody new
Now he's stuck in the rain all night
And I wish I was bluffing but I could never make this up
Ease your mind, worry about your pain
Reset life, banish your broken brain
On the phone with his lady
Tried to tell her it was wrong to do
Something strange come and change his mind
Cause I wish I was bluffing but I could never make this up
Ease your mind, worry about your pain
Reset life, banish your broken brain
Well I've gone fucking crazy
That's just something only I would do
Something strange come and change my mind
Cause I wish I was bluffing but I could never make this up
I could never make this up
