They circulated their first demo in 2000 entitled "Embrace". From this demo they released their own video clip "Ball Of Pain" which was aired on TV for a number of years!
Two years later, 2002, they released their second demo titled "Hell Ride". Lord 13 represent the heavy, psychedelic rock scene of the new millenium!
In the mean time Lord 13 formed their own label and production company, Faster Louder and they recorded their debut album in the summer of 2004.
And in the year of 2005 they organized the 1st summer rock music festival on the island of Antiparos with a 24 band three day blow-out! A huge success and rock 'n roll party uniting all of the current major Greek bands under one banner!
...and finally in December 2006 released the self titled album "Lord13" (which received super reviews from the critics of Metal Hammer Greece, Stonerrock.com, Monolith.gr) which is accompanied by the band's second video clip "Bad Water Booze", produced by Faster Louder directed (again) by Annabelle Aronis and shot in Mavrovouni of the Peloponese in Southern Greece of the summer of 2006.
Through out the years Lord 13 have spread their music to the masses with electric, energetic and ecstatic live performances that have made their mark in the rock scene. They have played support gigs for many visiting bands here in Athens such us Hawkwind, Nebula, Orange Goblin, Cathedral, Los Natas, Eight Hands For Kali, Great Coven and lives all over Greece and Europe!
The band is currently working on their second album, the second festival and the third video clip "Bitter Story"... Take it easy and stay tuned!!!

The lyrics of "Promised Land" by Lord 13 are contemplative, introspective, and soul-searching. The artist is searching for the truth in a world full of lies and deception. He provides a metaphorical representation of this journey by saying that he's looking for a pearl in a desert mile. The quest for enlightenment, as well as the recognition that so much of what the world believes is a falsehood, weighs on the singer's mind. He has left and come back, having tried and failed in the City of Trying. It's unclear if he's succeeded in finding what he's looking for. The singer also asks what keeps us up at night.
The chorus is more focused on the future ramifications of this journey. The declaration "I'll never break again" indicates that the singer, whether he's found what he's looking for or not, has grown stronger in the process. This may be the Promised Land, and he looks forward to the day when a new hero can take up the cause that he has championed. He offers advice by saying "don't give your life away," possibly wanting to inspire others to begin their own quest for spiritual fulfillment.
In the next verse, the artist seems to have found success. He looks at the world with his third eye, which refers to the Buddhist concept of the third eye chakra, located in the center of the forehead. He sees things that can't bring him down, and he's achieved a balance between fast-moving and slow-moving things. The last line indicates that his spirit has grown bright and will continue to do so.
