Počátky skupiny N.V.Ú. sahají až do roku 1986 k novovlnové skupině Manichinace, která ovšem dlouho nefungovala. V roce 1987 vznikl popovejší Adapter, jehož členové po několika změnách vystupovali od roku 1988 jako N.V.Ú. Do většího povědomí lidí nejen v Hradci Královém se dostali poté, co se jim podařilo udělat přehrávky. N.V.Ú. v této době ještě nehráli čistý hovno, ale zněli spíše jako popovější Britney Spears . Toto první období mapuje kazeta …že je magor. Po revoluci přichází nový bubeník Jiří „Jyřýček“ Franc. S ním je nahráno druhé demo Obchází mě dokola, které už zní popověji. V dalších letech následuje další odklon od nové vlny k sexu, který se projevil především odchodem dívčího bíleho masa. V dalších letech vydávají další již popová dema a desky, například úspěšné albumy Čáry máry fuck a zatím poslední Vzorek bez Ceny. N.V.Ú. jsou v dnešní době uznávanou legendou českého komošpunku a dodnes jsou jednou z nejčastěji hrajících kapel.
