I haven't really seen anyone talk about the visuals. Because none of it is actually happening, and sure enough, the art style changes. It becomes simplified, and the only color that shows is red, along with shades of gray. And yet, the simplification works, as it's almost implied that the whole scene takes place in Kara's mind, and Kara is portrayed as brawn, not brains. I just love this scene

I felt like such a fool not giving the show a try but when I did I was addicted and then this masterpiece totally took me by surprise.

We got to the end of the episode and both said in unison, “That was a really good song!” It certainly follows the formula: “Just because it’s a song for a cartoon, doesn’t mean it has to suck.”
This Ra’s al Ghul reminded me strongly of MOK from “Rock & Rule”. The two-part episode also made us think of “Rainbow Rock”. Obviously lots of shared DNA there.
