The notorious hardcore band STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE was formed in 2004 in Elsinore city. They play brutal in-your-face style hardcore and has made a name for themselves in and out of Denmark by playing numerous live shows over the years and shared stages with bands like Terror, First Blood, Last Mile, 25 Ta Life, Born from Pain, Rise From Above, Barcode, Hatesphere, Death Before Dishonor, Spinkick and many other cool bands.
The debut album entitled “From The Underground We Shall Rise” was released in 2008 by Italian record label Scarlet Records. It was well received and followed by the making of a music video for the song “Come and Get It” and several live shows in Denmark, Germany and Italy.
STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE is all about making aggressive music but also about family, making friends and having fun on the road. The band’s lyrics truly reflect this, as they are personal lyrics concerning own everyday life experiences and how fucked up this world has become.
In 2009 STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE got a new guitar player (Damien - Blindfault - The Interbeing) and a new drummer (Lana - Bloodspoiled). Both of these two hardcore motherfuckers are rooted in the Danish underground metal scene and that will be pretty clear to everyone on the upcoming album. The new songs are still very much straight out hardcore but now with a clear twist of metal. This upcoming album is the real raw deal, so hold your breath for this motherfucker.
