I'll kill any mother fucker if he tries to eat us
When the world ends (when the world ends)
I've been training in VR
Ripping heads off with my bare hands (with my bare hands)
I hope you hunker down and stay with me
I think we're going to make it
When the world ends
Any minute
When the nukes hit the ground
And the power goes
No internet to play the songs we know
Will you remember the words
When we live on lives on the road (On the road)
Like Saosin
Say Anything
From First To Last in the last days
When the world ends
Any minute
Sing me Jimmy when we have nothing to eat
Sing me Dashboard
Confess your love to me
Sing it honest baby
Like you're under oath
You can even sing me gibberish
Like you're cigar rose
We search through the ashes of the House of Blues
Maybe find some beer left behind in the green room
We saw Comeback Kid
It was packed but now it's a tomb (It's a tomb)
But those songs are lost
Global holocaust
You'll keep the melodies in your head
When the world ends
Any minute
When death threatens humanity
Sing death metal riffs from memory
In the breakdown of society
The breakdowns save my sanity
A life once lost on broken wings
As cities burn I lay dying
When the world ends
Any minute
Sing me Jimmy when we have nothing to eat
Sing me Dashboard
Confess your love to me
Sing it honest baby
Like you're under oath
You can even sing me gibberish
Like you're cigar rose
Na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na
Whoa-oh
Na na na na
Na na na na

Na na na na
Whoa-oh

Overall Meaning

The song "When the World Ends" by Vilnius.hang is a poignant and thought-provoking depiction of a post-apocalyptic world. The lyrics address the possibility of an impending global catastrophe such as a nuclear war and how, in such a bleak scenario, music and love remain the only constants that can help individuals stay sane and hold on to their humanity. The first verse speaks of the singer's preparedness to do whatever it takes to protect the people he cares for, even if it means resorting to violence. The idea of training in a virtual reality (VR) environment to prepare oneself for the apocalypse is an interesting commentary on how technology may affect our lives in the future. The second verse delves into how music becomes an essential part of survival when the world as we know it ends. The lyrics mention specific bands like Saosin, Say Anything, and From First To Last, indicating a deep connection to the genre of emo punk rock. The chorus, "When the world ends, any minute," reiterates the uncertainty and paranoia that people in such a situation would face. The song ends on a hopeful note, emphasizing the power of love and music to help us survive even the darkest of times.

The nobleman at the beginning had me in stitches as well xD

One gets the feeling that the Lithuanian conversion to Christianity miiiiight not have been 100% out of sheer religious fervor.

Gotta love how the Teutons are fielding bombard cannons despite not having Chemistry researched.

As for cheesing the scenario, two tricks I used were to convert the Teutonic Raiders' siege workshop so I could make my own bombard cannons, and to defend the city not with towers, but with several layers of house wall, which actually caused the enemy AI to bug out and kept them from attacking at all until I'd taken out all the supply carts. And even then, I think I had to delete a house at the front to get them moving properly.

The teutonic raiders are also a dummy ai until you defeat the units at the gate; their villagers will just stand around while you kill them. I destroyed them with my initial army and just built my base over top of them lol

Andrew

One of the best scenario ever. That day & night cycle, what a masterpiece

Hey Ornlu, just a quick heads-up. You have one tile margin of error for folwarks. So you're allowed to have slight T90-farms. The range extends 4 tiles in all directions, leaving a 1 tile margin.

Melara

there're 2 ways to complete this scenario:
1- The fast and normal way
2- The ornlu's way (more fun)

At least you remembered to get castle age blacksmith upgrades, it took me like 5 waves of attacks before i realized why the teutons were melting thru my army like they were made of butter 11 I was shoring up the walls with houses and production buildings, just barely preventing them getting to the last castle every time, the time wasting strategies seem to work the best here

Despite that, this is probably one of my favourite missions of this expansion, these last three are super solid imho

ItsmeRB!

Noticing that Bombard towers didn't have a price increase I ended up defending my town with Obuch, arb , house walls, and bombard towers! it worked wonders!
