on Een Teken
Light in the bathroom
If I’m living anyways, I’d rather live together
Why should I think and not share?
I want to break and not heal.
I want to love someone deeply
Until we get bored.
I want to confront my struggles again.
I realize that I am going back to my old self
Because I lost a part of myself and
I am acknowledging it, I am not blaming you
But this is better
Even perfect things must fall apart sometimes
I need to learn from the void
So, I have to forget about you
Before I become one with ‘us’
Let me know
Hope in my living room
I understand you better than you think
Surely I am not beautiful enough for you
And if you truly feel that way, please tell me now
Just leave me behind
Before I will expect too much from you
There is a heaviness tonight
Because I probably enjoyed it more than you
Let me know
Before I become one with ‘us’
Give me a sign
