From Here To Eternity
by Giorgio Moroder

From here to eternity, that's where she takes me
From here to eternity, with love, with love, with love

Baby (baby)
Baby gives me loving
Leaves me meaning nothing, nothing left to mean
Baby (baby)
Baby's got me sighing
Nearly has me dying, dying off to me

From here to eternity
That's where she takes me
From here to eternity
She does, she does, she does, she does
From here to eternity
That's where she leads me
From here to eternity
With love, with love, with love, with love

Baby (baby)
Baby makes me feel good
Feels good now she makes me, love me once again
Baby (baby)
Loving her is easy
Easy how she loves me, love me once again

From here to eternity
That's where she takes me
From here to eternity
She does, she does, she does, she does
From here to eternity
That's where she leads me
From here to eternity
With love, with love

From here to eternity
That's where she takes me
From here to eternity
She does, she does, she does, she does
From here to eternity
That's where she leads me
From here to eternity
With love, with love

From here to eternity, that's where she takes me
From here to eternity, with love, with love, with love

Baby, baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby

I wanted to do an album with the sounds of the fifties
The sounds of the sixties, of the seventies
And then have a sound of the future
And I thought: "Wait a second
I know the synthesizer, why don't I use the synthesizer
Which is the sound of the future"

Kids today have no idea of the sheer exhilaration that we felt at 18 in the late 1970s escaping from cities in Europe and the USA that still had buildings blackened and decaying from industrial pollution into a technicolour disco world of incredible music, energy, freedom and excitement for a few hours every weekend....incredible memories of London (the Embassy Club, Heaven, the Copacabana and El Sombrero) and the great people I met and had fantastic times with for a couple of unforgettable years between 18 and 21...

@DavidLondon "Kids today" absolutely do understand it, amazing and exhilarating shows still exist. Ya don't gotta gatekeep this stuff dude, in fact I'd argue that so many live shows, discos, clubs etcetera actually provide far better experiences. Stuff like (for example) Worlds Live by Porter Robinson (granted it's not disco, it's more of a live show) can be literally life changing.

@slip69 look, there are boomers who are dickheads, just like you, but that does not prove that all boomers are dickheads or that all people in your generation are dickheads.
