Mapa de Ruido es el resultado de un proceso de creación intenso, de muchas horas de ensayos y convivencia donde se unifican los elementos principales que determinan el sonido de Mamá Vudú: experimentación y fascinación por el rock n’ roll. El disco traza un camino que atraviesa diferentes momentos de intensidad y calma hacia un desenlace desconocido, un viaje real por la sensibilidad humana.
Hablando de lo estrictamente musical podemos contemplar la consolidación definitiva de un sonido, un ideario musical que sin ser estricto permanece como espina dorsal, sosteniendo canciones de pureza pocas veces lograda. Además, éste trabajo se destaca por la pulida producción de Daniel Pasquel (Can Can), que consigue resaltar el espíritu imaginativo de la banda.
Mapa de Ruido se vuelve así en un disco indispensable para comprender la historia del rock nacional, un compendio de música iconoclasta, transgresora y a la vez con raíces firmes en lo popular.
