She first rose to prominence in 2016 with her self-released mini-album Antipsychotica, which she recorded using her Apple headphones and uploaded to Soundcloud. She was then signed to Noah’s Ark Label in 2017. Under the label, she released two EPs, which both detail her struggle with mental illness. Both mini-albums being named after types of psychiatric medication.

In 2019, she released her debut album Snowsniper. It debuted and peaked at #61 on the Dutch Album Top 100. The album was awarded an Edison Award in February 2020. In the same year, she released her sophomore album Vlinders, which peaked at #5 on the charts following an exclusive vinyl release.

In 2021, S10 released the single “Adem Je In”. After gaining traction on Spotify, the single was remixed to feature rappers Frenna and Kevin. It became a platinum-certified hit and her first entry on the Dutch official Top 40. She then collaborated with Belgian band Bazart on “Onderweg”, which became a Top 20-hit on the Flemish Ultratop 50.

On 7 December 2021, it was announced that she had been selected by the Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS to represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Her entry "De Diepte" was released on 3 March 2022 and is in Dutch, making it the Netherlands' first Eurovision entry to be sung in the language since 2010. The single eventually finished in 11th place with 171 points. Following the finals, “De Diepte” peaked at Number 1 on the Dutch official Top 40, earning S10 her first Number 1-hit. She also collaborated with Froukje on “Zonder Gezicht”, which was voted as the best song of the year by multiple critcs, including 3Voor12.

In 2022, S10 released her third studio album Ik Besta Voor Altijd Zolang Jij Aan Mij Denkt. It received positive reviews from critics. It debuted at #6 and went on to peak at #5, matching the peak position of her debut album Vlinders. The album went on to win the Dutch Edison Award for Best Dutch release. The album was supported by a club tour across the Netherlands and the single “Nooit Meer Spijt” featuring Froukje, which became a Top 40-hit.

In 2023, S10 headlined a sold-out concert in the AFAS Live, one of the Netherlands’ biggest venues. She also collaborated with Kevin on “De Leven”, a cover of the original by Sef. The single became a streaming hit, topping the Dutch Spotify Top 50.
