"Vancouver-based poet Evanson wears too many hats to mention here. Suffice to say that, since 1995, she has been performing spoken word and dub poetry with Canadian, Turkish and other musicians backing her. Her third album is both the most realized in terms of lyrical flow with music and the funkiest. Working with mixers such as bRifo (formerly of France’s Gotan Project) and Trinidad’s Linx among others, tracks such as Don’t Not Do It evoke those great dub poetry albums out of the West Indies in the late seventies. The flow on Internetahlagy making poetry about social media and memes is deliciously bright and everyone needs to heed the advice of Jazz Tonic for Easy Rebirth. Listen and learn. Grade: A."

"...a smooth and hot mixture of dub, electronics, jazz, sonic electronic explorations. Tanya’s voice is uniquely powerful, strong, assured and melodic, deep and resonant. Always a fresh approach to poetry as music, the voice as music.
