He is mainly characterized by his melodic ballads and emotional, touching, somewhat intimate way of singing. At the age of 17 he moved by himself to Athens, the capital of Greece, to begin his music studies at the Filippos Nakas Conservatory.
His first ballad in Greek “Gia Sena” - “For You” (recorded simply with piano and no other instruments at that time) had noticeable response from Greek audience on Youtube, reaching over 100,000 views. Andreas was even contacted by several local radio stations of Greece and Germany in 2010 to air the song. Although the ballad was recorded in an amateur studio several years earlier (voice was recorded only in one single take), and had absolutely no promotion or marketing behind it, "Gia Sena" got many positive comments, which was quite unusual for a song with no professional arrangement at all.
During his 4 years in Greek conservatory in Athens (vocals, department of Modern song), Andreas was noticed by several teachers for his “interesting color of voice”. “In conservatory we were told that professional songwriters schedule a certain part of their day to write songs, like every day from 6 to 8 p.m. you sit down and start creating, doesn’t matter if you have inspiration or not. I could never be that guy, ever! I am not a highly organized person, and the only time I play my guitar or piano is when I WANT to do it”, says Andreas.
In the summer of 2012 Andreas’ self-written and self-arranged dance song with the title "Esy ki Egw" (“You and Me”) was successful in Russia and Ukraine (The song was in Top 40 of Top Hit Audience Choice reaching 31st place).
At the moment Andreas lives in Athens and is working on his debut album.
