Sulli was accepted into SM Entertainment through an SM audition casting system. From there she became a SM trainee while living in Seoul alone without her parents.
On September 1, 2009 Sulli and her group f(x) debuted with their single La Cha Ta. She formally left the group in 2015 to focus on other things, including acting. She appeared in several films.
She made her solo debut with the single Goblin on June 29, 2019.
Sulli passed away on October 14, 2019 in her home, she was 25.
