Black Emperor and Exhaust. Girt creates an eclectic mixture of electronic sounds with humorous, sarcastic political awareness. 1-Speed Bike is on the record label Constellation Records, who say his music is "characterized by live drum phrases that pulse and breathe with organic dynamism, chopped and looped to form the backbone for melodic passages that range from the irreverent to the sublime." His debut album contains a remix of a track by Fly Pan Am.

Aidan was a member of the Montreal Anarchist Bookstore collective and lived in Amsterdam for a while before settling into a cabin in the woods outside Montreal, where he continues to speed things up and slow things down at his home studio.
