Afterdusk is an American metalcore band from Mobile, Alabama. The band was formed in 2021 and consist of vocalist Matt Boykin, guitarist and vocalist Chris Rivera, bassist Corey Mcleod and drummer Jeff Griffin.
The band tackles the difficult subject of dysfunctional relationships in their music. Many of their songs deal with the pain and despair that come with the end of a relationship that was built on lies and pretense. With raw emotion and intense instrumentals, Afterdusk explores the theme of vulnerability and the fear of getting hurt in love. Their music speaks to those who have experienced the pain of failed relationships, and offers a cathartic release for those grappling with feelings of despair and hopelessness. In October of 2021, Afterdusk released their debut single "Become of Me" and haven’t stopped since. Immediately after, they followed up the single with four EPs, all releasing within the span of 2022. Now in 2023, all of these songs have accumulated into their debut full length album "FATALIZE," featuring all previously released and now remastered tracks, as well as one final album exclusive track, “Tangled Roots.”
