My mom and I used to listen and sing to this in the car way back in like 2012 - 2015, it was basically our song. It was the first song that I ever learnt how to sing. My mom passed away in 2016, and ever since I have been trying to remember the title/lyrics of this so I could find it. Over five years later, and today I randomly clicked on this in recommended and the memories just flooded back. On top of that, this is just six days after her birthday. Rest in peace Mom, I miss you.

Last night I literally had like a "short film idea" just blow up into my mind. Where two men were fighting with large wooden sticks, in an BC Egyptian setting. The background song, a vocalization (the notes were similar to the alien music in Arrival), with long sustained notes also came into my head. I jumped out of bed to try to sing and record this vocalization because it was GOOD. As I sang it, I noticed the vocalization lead up to a part of this song! So i looked up the old internet explorer commercials with this song (which were AMAZING). then I looked up this video. And I really got shocked by the eerie similarities by what I imagined and this video. Did you get it? I literally thought of both this song AND this video, but in the form of a "modified version". Modified song. Modified video. You usually remember something because you think of just one aspect.

But dude, BOTH aspects, the song and the video, literally just popped into my head at once, without thinking about this? So i could have remembered Too Close either musically or visually. Insane.
