Arnee, Jeffrey Hidalgo's younger sister has made her mark when she brought home the Silver Prize and Most Beautiful Contestant Special Award from Kazakhstan in the Voice of Asia 2002 Singing Competition. Arnee Hidalgo’s album, Cold Summer Nights was released in 2003, and instantly became a big hit. The carrier single, Cold Summer Nights and the follow-up single, True were both a huge success in the airwaves, earning Arnee the Campus Radio 97.1 OPM Artist of the year, 2003 with Cold Summer Nights as Campus Radio 97.1 OPM Song of the year, 2003 and Magic 89.9 ER Awards, Best Remake. Arnee's sudden success as a promising new artist also earned her other awards like Candy Rap Awards Best New Artist 2004, and Meg Magazine Breakthrough Artist, 2004.
