She continues to record and has just released a CD entitled "Observations", find this at http://graceandmotion.com.
Bridgett is known best for probably two songs of the many she has recorded; "Love to the Limit" and "Take Me Away" Regarding the disparities of recording house music back in the day, she says that there were many challenges with holding on to your copyrights and getting paid. Most producers gave you the impression that you were a viable part of the process until it was time to be compensated for your time. She made interesting comments upon seeing Last.FM where a woman named Pucci, mounted here picture on one of the pages and called herself "Bridgett Grace", Bridgett comments:
"Who is this woman PUCCI, and what type of person is desperate enough to put their name and face on someone else's work. This is upsetting but I hope that those who like my music will take the time to find honest resources for my work.
Bridgett has worked Mad Mike (Mike Banks) , Tony Srock and Jeff Mills, The King Midas Project and Country Recording Artist Hunter Brucks and the list goes on. "Love to the Limit", and Take Me Away may be her most popular contributions to house archives. She adds "and yes I am the "real True Faith". Detroit is still a fruitful arena for background work. Bridgett has worked on a few tours with the likes of Mary J. Bilgh, Oleta Adams, Anita Baker and Keith Washington, Wendy Moten and the soul group Chapter eight.
"It's certainly not about the money or the fame, because one day you have a pocket full of money and the next day you are sitting by the phone hoping someone will call you with an offer. I am glad that I have always insisted upon writing, this has been fruitful and empowering for me. If you get picked up for a tour this is great if not, Detroit is just a town where live music is appreciated and there is work and a platform for musicians."
Check out Bridgett's latest CD "Observations" a warm soul, five piece live rhythm section, old skool, horns and observations about life. Http://graceandmotion.com or visit http://nimbitmusic.com/mbmoy to purchase mp3's.
