From a young age, Vintage began the love of music. After relocating to the Washington D.C. area in the Mid-80s, Vintage began picking up instruments starting out with the Trumbone. Around this time, a movement was starting to arize, the House movement. Started in Chicago, House is strongly influenced by some elements of the late 1970s soul- and funk-infused dance music style of disco. Vintage began listening to House, feeling House, becoming House. From the Gypsy Woman to the Perculator to Baltimore's Club Hit, Shake That Ass, Vintage embraced what was concieved as a largely gay-embraced music. Dispite all of that, Vintage continued learn the form of music, later picking up the piano, drums and guitar THEN later on getting studio training. It wasn't until 2007 that Vintage had a chance to really put his creativity to the forefront. Vintage, by this time had become a avid transit buff and an advance level photographer. Adding onto the resume of skills, Vintage also became a novice level video editor. With all these skills in tact, Vintage only recently began to home in on his musical aspects. With the first track laid, This Is...Borough Hall, Vintage's talents for music began to really push forward. Vintage has also had a much larger love for DJing and does that more so than creating music. Stay Tuned for more from DJ Vintage Soul, as this is only the beginning...
