The dominant elements of metal, ethnic, and avant garde perceived as a progressive album hard rock and avant garde tended (although if you listened, did not contain levels of less mainstream / swing jazz albums than "1st"). A second difference occurs not because the album was intentional, but merely due to differences in mood at work on it.
