En febrero de 1997 firma contrato con Sony Music con quien realiza su primer álbum: Cápsulas de Amor bajo la producción musical del exitoso colombiano Luis Fernando Ochoa. (productor de Shakira entre otros); Su propuesta es dentro del género pop - acústico con algunos temas de su inspiración relatando sus vivencias y sentimientos.
En octubre de 1998 se escucha en la radio su primer sencillo "Cielo" logrando ocupar los primeros cinco lugares de popularidad durante 8 meses consecutivos tanto en México como en Centroamérica. El disco sale a la venta en enero de 1999.
Con un sólo tema Federico logra durante 1999, permanecer dentro del gusto de su pùblico a través de su participación en programas de televisión como: "Al ritmo de la Noche", "Al Fín de Semana", "Hoy", "La Botana", diversos programas y entrevistas en "Telehit ", "Teleton '98 y '99 ", así como su participación en el Festival Acapulco '99.
De su primera producción musical se desprenden dos videos de las canciones: Cielo y Este Mundo Gira.
El apoyo y difusión de RADIO se dió a través de presentaciones en eventos masivos en la Plaza de Toros México , el Estadio Azteca y el Palacio de los Deportes, escenarios que sin lugar a duda le fueron dando un mejor desenvolvimiento escénico dentro del medio del espectáculo. Se escucharon básicamente 3 sencillos: Cielo en tres versiones: normal, acústica y remix, Tan Lejos en versión normal y remix; y Este Mundo Gira en versión normal y Remix.
En prensa igualmente se hicieron continuamente publicaciones y entrevistas de su desenvolvimiento y trayectoria artística. Ha promocionado su música en Centro y Sudamérica, así como presentaciones particulares en la Republica Mexicana.
En el año 2004 firma contrato con OLE Music con la que lanza su segundo álbum titulado "Algo que Decir" bajo la producción ejecutiva de Fernando Figueroa, producido por Fede Vega y con 11 temas compuestos por él, lográ colocar su sencillo "Que Chido" como tema principal del exitoso Reality Show Big Brother en el año 2005, uno de los programas con mayor audiencia.
El tema principal "Algo que Decir" lo realizó a dueto con la exitosa actriz y cantante Iran Castillo.
En ese mismo año Federico viaja a Arizona, USA para quedarse 2 años trabajando en una producción y componiendo nuevos temas.
En el 2007 regresa a México y trabaja en un tema que pretende posicionarlo como tema de la Selección Mexicana, para el mundial de futbol Sudafrica 2010.
En el 2010 el tema "Mexicano y Gol" el cual trabajo desde el 2007, esta listo y es el himno oficial de la selección Azteca.
