Several songs taken from these albums are included in a variety of compilation albums, such as Celtic Woman released through Valley Entertainment, and which includes tracks by Loreena McKennitt, Rita Connolly and others.
Putumayo Records in New York have also featured three of Fiona's songs on their highly succesful compilations: Women of the World: Celtic, along with Mary Black, Maire Brennan (of Clannad), Maura O'Connell and others, A Celtic Collection along with Dougie Maclean, Sharon Shannon & Andy Irvine, and Women's Work, along with Ani DiFranco and Janis Ian. Fiona was specially invited to perform live at the launch of Women's Work in the Bottom Line Club (N.Y.).
She was also invited to attend the much-publicised Music Bridge Songwriting retreat in Clifden, County Galway, where she worked on co-writing songs with several well American composers, at the end of which, she appeared in concert at the Temple Bar Music Centre in Dublin along with other songwriters who took part in the Music Bridge Project such as Montel Jordan, Gordon Kennedy, Eleanor McEvoy, Brian Kennedy, Liam O' Maonlaoi and more.
Plans for the future include working on songs for a new solo album, as well as further live performances, both solo and with a band. Forthcoming releases include Celtic Woman 2, due to feature Altan, Karen Matlieson and more.
"The fight between light and dark - musically and thematically - is a good metaphor for Joyce's music"
