Eli first became famous through Vine in 2014, posting short covers under his full name ("Jeffrey Eli MIller") and appearing on GMA. Later that year, he released his first EP, "Seconds" featuring the single "Double Tap" (also released under his full name).
When Vine was taken down, he moved to YouTube, where he posted covers of popular songs -- most notably Fifth Harmony's "Reflection" with Karina Rae and a cover of the Christmas classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". In 2015-16, he would embark as member of the "Boys of Summer" tour along with fellow singer Devin Hayes.
In February 2016, he released the song "Pretty Lady" under the name "Jeffrey Miller". Later that year, he would release two singles ("Chess Piece" and "Life for the Night") before ultimately releasing his second EP "RISE" on October 14.
On June 22, 2018, he would release his first full length album, "Plan A" under the name "Jeffrey Eli" (in which every other release by him has been), featuring the songs "Friends Go?" and "Play Pretend!"
Throughout 2019, he would continue to release one-off songs, including "3000", "High School Life", "Then They Go", "Two Enemies", and "Nauseous". In 2020, he began renewing interest in his career through TikTok, posting videos of himself riffing over popular hits. He has continued to do this. In November 2021, he would feature on fellow musician, Juliet Ivy's song "ZOOM".
In the middle of 2022, Eli would go on to take "Plan A" and all singles off of streaming platforms to make room for a new single coming in September called "CASPER". Later that year, he would go on to release another single, "LADYBUG".
