The trio make the beats themselves, putting their individual stamps on each song, with synths and vocal pedals contributing heavily to their live performances.
The group initially started in 2008 as a rap duo/quasi-joke, containing members Luke Thilghman (who was lost to BKYN), rapper Louis Handler AKA JILLA KEW/KILLA JEW, and rapper Lindsey French AKA LES LA; or as of late, LIL GOTH BITCH. After BOBBLEHEAD, (Luke)'s untimely departure, VCU film student, Caleb Plutzer AKA MASTERWHORE, stepped in and ensured the Gucci junt.
With the 2011 release of their more devious sophomore album, Soft Swerve, the music has become increasingly more of an expressive outlet for the members, rather than the joke it was birthed from. Needless to say, don't take everything they say seriously. Louis doesn't actually put coke on a gerbil in a condom up his exterior. Yes, the girl writes her own raps AND works on the beats, as well as both remaining members; passing around a song until it has various influences of ignorant rap, underground west coast hip-hop, witch house, trance, and pop. Don't miss a house show or rowdy bar performance. Swerve.
