Evil Lolikon) but changed the name to LIFE SUCKS as of December 5th 2009. Retaliation played a mix between Black Thrash Metal similar to a mix of early 80s bands like Sodom/Venom/Mercyful Fate and also 90s styled stuff like Nifelheim(Sweden) and various Hardcore Punk influence from the late 70s-mid 80s scene. The musical style did not change when the name was put as Life Sucks, although the first album is primarily a mix of Funeral Doom/Noise/Synths this is not very far from Retaliation(Referencing back to the Armageddon *Single* back in early 2008).
"I did not feel that the name Retaliation was fitting for my band anymore, in the early days it was pretty much just named after the second Carnivore album which I worshipped since I was born. But LIFE SUCKS suits my lyrical content and my attitude alot more than Retaliation." - Evil Lolikon
Although after 1 album and a mood swing the band's name was finally changed to ロリＶＯＭＩＴＳ.
