While it started with horrible musical torture lacking any form of seriousness and structure, Melophobie evolved into an actual band over the years.
After their first album Aural Distortion, flutist Börks switched to keyboard, only to be kicked out by the new singer BlueCowMadman during the recording of the second album Freestyle Part One.
A more serious approach on music was made when Frittie joined the band. The three now active band members recorded the album Funny Funerals for Fat Fartfaces.
A break in Melophobie's no-quality policy was made when Dutch musician and lyricist Lime joined the band, to amend for the departure of Frittie.
Together they write texts about bizarre over-the-top sexual fantasies, lethal drug-use and extreme stances on various ethical issues. Accompanied by usually acoustic-orientated compositions which actually don't suck, this time around, this ensures for a traumatically hilarious experience which will leave you both unshaved and unemployed.
With their upcoming installment, Bad Vibrations (officially the fourth Melophobie-release, but really the first one remotely worth mentioning), Melophobie hope to set a foot on the ground of the rubber dickslap acoustic necrojazz scene, a risky but daring standard.
