Mohandas is a rock band from Vienna, Austria which was first founded under … Read Full Bio ↴Mohandas is a rock band from Vienna, Austria which was first founded under the name "Pokerface" in 2004. Daniel, Marco and Mat had previously played in the punk formation "Fonder Terriors" before Martin and Daniel 1 joined. Together they started anew, abandoning old habits in search for a new sound. The fist song was therefore fitting, Johnny B. Goode, covering one of the very first rock n roll songs.
From there on songs were composed, rehearsed and played live in various small clubs in Vienna. In 2006, Sigi joined the band in order to enhance the bands muscial spectrum and new songs were written and played, a road whcih has led them up to the Sziget Festival in Hungary.
And how does it continue?
The future is unwritten...

Daniel Kimm (guitar, vox)
Sigrid Gruber (vox, percussion)
Daniel "Eins" Smrzka (drums)
Martin Thaller (bass)
Marco Vezjak (currently inactive)
