Drawing on influences as diverse as The Beatles, The Sex Pistols, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Bread, Black Sabbath, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Elton John, Chicago, Led Zeppelin and a variety of others, Point Blank Australia cross many genres.
Broadly described as classic rock, their music also crosses into categories of punk, indie, alternative, pop, garage, avant-garde, 70’s style heavy metal, jazz fusions, B-grade film scores & genres undefined.
From the ‘tongue in cheek’ to the depths of the soul, from the trivial to the profound,… music that is instantly familiar yet completely alternative.
