The story begins in the early twenties when vocalist Mikael Jacobsson and bass- player Mikael Wahlin, Drinking mates in those days, decided to start a band that would not exist by the book, they wanted to find new and unconventional ways within Rock music, to express themselves. The early years was spent experimenting both musically and with finding the right band members. Finally, after changing both direction and members a numerous times, they found guitar player Robert Claesson from Norrkoping. And theese three guys started to make the roots grow. 2003 was the year when 7th FlooR was starting to get recognized by friends and building a fan base in their hometown Gothenburg. The debut demo "We are on" was recorded at Micxter studios in Majorna (gbg) and produced in co-operation between the band and Sayit Dölen. The album includes the legendary "Real version love" and the love song "Left in fire" with back vocal singer Angela Youssefi. The first song to be recorded was "Words", February-02, followed by "Thinking of yesterday" and the single Welcome to my dreams in April -02. Since then the band has released three demos and a numerous amount of singles, which have had a clear impact on the Rock climate for the last few years. After a few disagreements the band broke up with their first guitarist in 2002. And after being without alcohol for a while. The bands latest demo "7th FlooR" with the no 1 song 24 hour lover machine was released in the spring of 2003 and has since then been their most successful one so far. Where the band, after rehearsing a good take of the mentioned song, flipped on alcohol completely and somehow managed to build up the frantic feel, that was required to make the no 1 song 24 hour lover machine. Seventh FlooR has a small but dedicated fan base in Sweden. However one rarely hear anyone who has no opinion of the Seventh FlooR, since the release of the first single the audience has been divided into the lovers and the haters of the band. It is somehow fascinating that, 40 years after the birth of Pop music, people still can be emotionally upset over what a band is recording and performing. A reason enough to keep recording more Seventh FlooR records...
