Due to its tremendous success, SIVA Addiction continues promotion of "Dirty Secret”, produced by Platinum Producer, David Prater (Dream Theater, FireHouse, Patti LaBelle, Cyndi Lauper, Texas Hippie Coalition) performing shows nationwide.
With the video in production and “One Night Rodeo” set for release at the end of the year, the single has already gotten positive response from both critics and fans alike.
SIVA's successful debut album Artifice, released February 2009, has received international radio airplay and landed the band several endorsement deals.
While touring regionally promoting Artifice, SIVA developed an affectionate and loyal fan base. Receiving daily MySpace plays in the hundreds and adding new fans each day, SIVA is 'destined for success’ as the Sanskrit name implies.
According to Rob O'hara of Review-O-Matic, SIVA is grouped with bands like Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Mudvayne and Evanescence. SIVA's heavy but not too heavy. Easily falling within the confines of radio-friendly song lengths, hovering around the four-minute mark, this five-piece packs plenty of interesting hooks showing comprehension of musical dynamics, building up before rocking out.
Switching from a soft melody to hard-hitting power notes throughout most of the album, front woman Bridgette Oliver's vocals are strong. "Teasing listeners with her soft whispers and then attacking them with her full range. Through her clear vocals Oliver channels Evanescence's Amy Lee, though broken up with flashes of screams and growls. Oliver proves that women can rock just as hard, or even harder, than their male counterparts." says O'hara.
SIVA's lineup includes Bridgette Oliver as lead vocals, Andy Hopkins on guitar, Vince Lindstrom on rhythm guitar, Jesse Slone on bass and Brandon Fields on drums.
Collectively, SIVA is poised to blow people's heads off with aggressive beats, solid rhythmic bottom end, monster riffs and powerful vocals.
