1) Doom metal from Toluca, México. Released one album called Antifona de Entrada, in 2001.
While Skar was originally a one-man band, members were added eventually until it evolved to a full band.
Skar stopped playing live after they received several threats from Christian groups. They had a radio presentation and two live gigs before deciding to stop having public activity.
The album Antífona de entrada was released posthumously.
Skar defined themselves not as a band who is against Christ, but as a band that is against religious organisations and their hypocrisy.
In January 29th, 2017, the singer and guitar player, who was the founding member, had a mental breakdown, and decided to bring Skar to an end.
