Also involved were Jess Carter (drums), Craig Waite (electric bass guitar) and Kris Dollimore (electric/acoustic guitar).
Influences included traditional English folk music, doowop, beat pop and rockabilly via 1960s France. Their sound was described by British radio DJ Steve Lamacq as 'intriguing... and strangely comforting', by British radio DJ Mark Lamarr as 'very fine stuff', and was played on BBC Radio 6 Music by Gideon Coe and Lauren Laverne. First album 'Easterly' was chosen as iTunes album of the week, & second album 'There is no Ending' was album of the week on BBC Radio Cornwall's David White Show. The Ambassadors of Sorrow also provided original music for two independent films.
