Sounding like a jam between Jefferson Airplane and The Stone Roses the band have ‘carved themselves out a formidable reputation on the live circuit thanks to their incendiary performances’ (Scootering).
2006 saw the band take their unique blend of indie-swagger-and-soul tinged rhythm ’n’ blues to the masses – performing across the UK from the London’s legendary 100 Club to Glasgow Arches and building up a loyal and energetic following.
Guy Davies - Vocals, Hursty - Guitar/Vocals, Lee Gittings - Bass Guitar, Greg - Drums
One of the original artists signed to Staffordshire based Indepndent Record Label Sons Ltd, the band released their debut single ‘Slippin n Slidin’ in April 2007, which entered the UK Indie chart at no15. Second single ‘Madman’ duly followed, peaking at no.5 in the Indie chart backed up by airplay on BBC 6Music, XFM, and Radio 1, and earning a impressive critical reception - ‘Gritty down-right-dirty guitar powered killer’ (Fly)
With the band bristling with new material purveying the infamous ‘Sons sound’ - 2010 looks set to be a big year for The Title – a band that certainly cannot be ignored. As the NME recently pointed out, not only are they "one to look out for", they are also "a band that have got bouncers across the land quaking in their shoes!"
