These Kings (formerly known as Lakota Elk) are an English alternative rock … Read Full Bio ↴These Kings (formerly known as Lakota Elk) are an English alternative rock band from Wednesbury, West Midlands. Influenced by a variety of musicians and genres before them, the band's style incorporates elements of indie and math rock with some ambience.
"Home", the first single from the band's debut EP "Smile.Wave.Repeat." is available as a free download from their BandCamp page, along with the b-side "There's A Light In That Pile of Snow". The single was given a positive review in a January 2013 edition of NME magazine, being branded "one of 2012's most promising debuts". The band released a new single titled "Open Arms" in May 2013.
In a short yet promising career, These Kings have so far played sets supporting the likes of Cloud Control, JAWS and NudyBronque.
