Over the last eight years Thor has bicycled and canoed over 15000 km across North America with a guitar on his back. These have been foundational experiences for his songwriting and musical style which manifested over months of simple, nomadic journeys enriched by the countryside, towns, and many diverse, warmhearted people whom he encountered, connected with, and befriended along the way.

His music style and songs can be described as soulful contemporary indie-folk/rock, influenced and inspired by his thirst for exploring/learning about the world and the potential of the human spirit. Thor uses his voice, overtone singing, guitar, piano, harmonica, kick drum, foot tambourine and when possible a band of contributing musicians, to share meaningful thoughts, reflections, and stories relating from personal to societal experiences.

Thor released his debut album Thirsty Hearts in early May 2016, his sophomore album Shine Through The Dark in late May of 2017, After releasing a few singles between 2018-20, including Open Sky, Game Plan, Ice Age, and With You, Thorin released his third album In This Place on September 18th, 2020.

In early 2016, he completed an associate of arts degree in global stewardship from Capilano University in North Vancouver and his bachelors degree in communications in February of 2020 while working for an emergency aid society that helps the homeless.
