Born in the late seventies, Gospel Artiste Victor Olayeni represents Nigeria and the African continent. Growing up, Victor dedicated his time to his church playing the piano, drums and guitar for the choir. Later on in life he focused on his true calling which his blessing lives through his voice, which led him to sharing the same stage with greats like Ron Kenoly, Dr. Panam Percy Paul just to mention a few.
He then became the worship leader for Rev. Joe Olaiya's ministry travelling all over Nigeria with his ministry, ministering in crusades and massive church programmes. Also, Victor was a member and briefly head of department of Rock Solid which is the music department of The Rock Foundation Ministry in University of Lagos branch which has its’ HQ at muson centre with Pastor Paul Adefarasin.
Our times & seasons of life are in the master’s hands and by his divine ordinance Victor Olayeni became the worship leader at Daystar Christian Centre Lagos-Nigeria with Rev. Sam Adeyemi. Blessing the lives of millions via worldwide online viewing with his gift , truly a man with a unique calling & ministry. In his words” Back 2 Life is God's project through me to reach out to the world in songs”. Victor Olayeni has & he has grown in wisdom and grace. His mentor the wise one Gbenga Owoeye-Wise has really imparted him and his ministry. He featured on Victor’s new work with the track “You are my all” which was greatly inspiring.
Many say his voice instantly recognizable. Characteristically raspy ringing with power and authority as he masterfully illustrates with excellence the Word of God. Not only is his delivery exemplary, his knowledge of the historical text brings to life the message of hope and healing. Not a singer that happens to preach but a Preacher called by God who is gifted to sing. Architect of Urban Praise, a blessing to this generation and coming generations. Labelled as one of the most electrifying and inspiring voices in Gospel Music, his music has won him not only a wide audience and critical acclaim, but also numerous Awards in appreciation of his work. Victor is happily married with two lovely daughters
