He also writes and implements the works of the instrumental project Seasons' Change. His new solo works include semi-instrumental tracks. You can find his official website at www.vrankey.de.
Vrankey's music can be described as a mixture of electro, indie, rock and pop. His songs are instrumentals, semi-instrumentals and tracks with "conventional" voice parts. Telecaster licks, experimetal sound effects and alienated voices are typical parts of his music.
His debut "Dig It All" includes 11 tracks and has been released in summer 2009.
In october 2009 the concept album „Spheres & Silhouettes“ followed. The album tells a story about a man who is deeply confused by processes of self-destruction which human kind suffers from. Those processes appear internally (observation and data abuse) and externally (disease caused by nuclear power). The character can’t stand this desperate misery, which lead him to leave our solar system. His feelings are affected by easement and anger at the leaders of the dying world. While he gets lost in space, earth is dying from the disaster caused by nuclear apocalypse. Meanwhile the voice of an infant moans human failure.
This work is an attempt to tell a conceptual story without using amounts of words, but letting sounds take effect.
