World are becoming the new face of hard-edge, balls-out rock on the underground South Wales music scene. After starting life extensively playing the Swansea area and recording their 1st E.P., 'Our Own Personal Tabloid' in the late summer of 2007, in spring of 2008 it was decided that they should part company with bassist, James Morgan to enable him to spend more time concentrating on his other commitments, leaving Kirk and Damian with the difficult job of finding a suitable replacement to fill his shoes.
In April 2009, still unsuccessful in their search for a suitable bassist, Kirk and Damian went into the studio to set to work on recording World Vs. World's 2nd and current E.P., 'The Six Degrees of separation', with the bass duties being undertaken by Damian and Kirk concentrating on lead and backing vocals. It was completed in 10 days and production and mixing duties were undertaken by a young student called Krist Davison, who ironically, after World Vs. World re-recruiting James to play bass on a gig by gig basis to help promote the cd, became the new full-time bassist in late 2009.
The new, rejuvenated World Vs. World are extensively touring the South Wales area and beyond in 2010 and The Six Degrees of Separation is being accepted well by both the public and critics alike. The band are looking to go into the studio again in October/November 2010 to set to work on an exciting follow-up 3rd E.P. or possibly even start work on their 1st full-length album!
