“Bizzare magazine” - “SplitMind are like an updated “Pitchshifter”, cranking out fiery rap metal with an industrial slant. While they aren't re-inventing metal, and their 1990s baggy pants are a crime against fashion and nature, their growls induce headbanging and their soaring vocals really fly. SplitMind are perfect for those who love to rock out to nu-metal classics every weekend, and would definitely put bounce in the Bizarre Ball moshpit”.
Alex Baker from “Kerrang magazine” about the SplitMind : “A nice blend of late 90s nu-metal with some modern electronics, SplitMind may not be reinventing the wheel but with their chunky guitars and old-skool style punk-rap vocals they certainly hit the spot in the genre. Both vocalists deliver and if you like Fear Factory and Disturbed the chances are you may find a place in your heart for SplitMind.
SplitMind is the brilliant 4 piece band, combined the brutal riffs with melodic chords, the catchy beats with percussions and the industrial synths, the growl, rap and soaring clean vocals – it all can be found in SplitMind music. The band was formed in early 2004, since then SplitMind went through numerous line-up changes and formed it’s own individual sound, which can be described as ”Industrial Rock”. Ever since the beginning the SplitMind has given a great number of performances on a huge variety of stages: from small club gigs to major venues and open-air festivals. Every single gig can be recognized by it’s uncompromising power, passion, energy and brutal drive.
The SplitMind has several albums behind their back: “the Black form" 2007, "Brain scan" 2008 and the latest LP albums "Point of destination" and "Reloading" in 2010 which were followed by a number of amazing performances, including support performance for Brian Head Welch of "Korn" in ”Rock cafe” Estonia 2010.
Soon in august 2010 the SplitMind consisting of Sebastian, Neofit and Trip, moves to London where they finally complete their line-up with Max, who takes the bass player position. With this line-up the band is confidently moving forward, SplitMind is recording new songs in the London studio and playing live shows all around the UK!
