福田こうへい's song 南部蝉しぐれ depicts a sense of longing for one's hometown and the struggles that come with dreaming big in the city. The first stanza speaks of the three places, Nanbu, Morioka, and Shizukuishi, that symbolize the singer's homeland. The distance between the singer and their hometown makes it impossible for them to hear anything other than the echo of their own voice. However, they receive solace from the sound of cicadas, brought to them by the alcohol. The singer then exhorts themselves to be strong and not complain in the face of difficulties.
The second stanza offers words of encouragement that one can always return to their starting point when things don't go well. Success is one aspect of life, but pursuing one's dreams is also important. The singer speaks of their unrequited love and implores their loved one to wait for them while they drink away their sorrows with five cups of sake on the busy streets. In the final stanza, the singer advises the listener to embrace challenges and fight their way through them while the cicadas echo in their heart.

主人とよくコンサート一緒に出かけてましたが去年他界しました。
南部蝉しぐれを聞くと、こうへいちゃんの歌声と共に色々思い出してしまい涙が出てきます
