A song from the gods of olympus. Odin even would have to bow to this!!!!!!! The vocals , the style the masterpiece!@ I was listening to this since it came out which was decades ago, and here it is 2016 and I still look it up. My bro went hiking in Colorado in the backwoods and my mom was shitting herself he was gone so long. I had this song playing while thia was happening. Evertytime I play this my memory goes right back there to 1992. He showed up everntually btw. No one has captured what Demilich did. Nobody!~!!!

I like other albums better, personally, but this album is a great gatekeeping piece for getting into death metal.

this stuff is great, like a good majority of finnish death metal, but the vocals have always irritated me. you would think after a while of listening you wouldn't care, and that is true to extent... it just makes me sad to think that those "belching vocals" weren't put to minimum use and a more traditional approach was used for the majority of passages. as it is, i think an 8.5/10 or 9/10 is in order, though
