The abuser is ostracized ("My friends all wear your colors, Your flag flies above every door") when the truth comes out, but the horror is far from over. The abuser has spent countless hours obsessing over how to break the victim. And the abuser isn't about to stop now. Alone, with nothing to lose, the abuser still hates the victim, and perpetually contemplates vengeance.
Imagine having escaped with your life from a serial abuser, and knowing that his or her hatred of you festers so strongly still, that they forget to eat and sleep.

I’m still not over this song, hell, the whole album in general. I’m not sure if I’m ever going to listen to the whole thing again though. Maybe because it hits way too hard for me personally (this song especially, I nearly had a panic attack when I first heard this).

The horror and harrowing sadness is so damn poignant and haunting. You know that scene in Midsommar when Dani starts crying and the cult comfort her by crying with her? Yeah, that’s pretty much the entire album.

While ACLAM gave me immeasurable sadness and EATEOT made me feel really damn empty, what I felt when I listened to this album for the first time is something I genuinely can’t describe.

It’s terrifying, it’s beautiful, it’s Caligula.

This is a prime example of blackened drone, (avant-garde DSBM, maybe?) and a hauntingly beautiful one at that.

This woman is a survivor, and her story should be heard. The vocals in this are raw, passionate, and pure emotion, all generated from very real trauma caused by someone in her life. Music doesn't get much more personal than this.

This particular track is anyway shocking both on the sound and the voice performance. It's a total success. I truly believe Kristin will be one day as legendary as Diamanda, with their respectively and amazing peculiarities.

Just heard a song of you in a german radio program(Zündfunk on Bayern 2. Very musically open minded people). Very interesting music. Touching, absolutely. Nothing i would listen to regulary but still haunting enough, to add it to my collection. Some records go there for those rare moments when you need exactly that rare tone and feeling. That screaming aspect reminds me of Tiamat - wildhoney in a way. Very interesting and unaspected aproach to how this track started. I guess i stroll thu your stuff this evening for a bit. Wonder what i find.
