The lyrics to Boney M.'s Malaika are in Swahili and tell the story of the singer's love for Malaika, a Swahili word meaning "angel." The singer repeats the line "Malaika na ku pende malaika" which translates to "Angel, I love you angel" throughout the song, emphasizing his feelings towards Malaika. He also mentions the beauty of her eyes "na me nee sen yeh yeh" and her smile "nekka na mum see oh."
The second half of the song switches to a call-and-response style, with the singer singing a line and a choir responding. They sing about the beauty of Malaika and how she brings joy to their lives. The repeated line "nassin dwala mali sinawy ingge ku owa" means "the beauty of Malaika brought me here."
Overall, the song is a love letter to Malaika and a celebration of her beauty and grace.

It's a Swahili song by the late Legend himself Fadhili Williams from Kenya 🇰🇪
It's a song by a gentleman to a Lovely girl. He admires to marry her but he doesn't enough wealth to pay her dowry.
Let me help you with the Chorus in English (Malaika IS angel, Nakupenda is I love you)

I was born in Uganda, and my nanny used to sing this song when she was putting me to sleep. Years later, and it makes me cry every time I hear a version of this song. This song is still played by expelled Ugandan Asians to remind them of a place they once called home.

The voice of the man is not his own, but that of the producer Frank Farian, mind that. And the voice of Maizie Williams is not her own. The instrumentation and the whole performance is also not their work, sorry even the clothes ...so you have to thank the people who did the job in reality .
