This song means so much to me. I lost my leg below the knee a year ago, and before that, I spent a year bed-ridden and wheelchair bound. I did PT to learn how to walk with a prosthetic leg, but I lost all my core muscles strength, and it's so hard to just stand upright. I'm also 45, if I were ten or twenty years younger, I'd bounce back better. I had a knee reconstruction surgery back in Jan 2011, and I had 3 months to go swimming and get myself into the best shape I could. I wasn't given this opportunity; I had a crush injury to my foot, and my podiatrist wouldn't prescribe PT for me to learn how to exercise with a damaged foot.
I knew this was going to be the hardest thing I've ever done (my mom passed away unexpectedly three weeks after I got out of the hospital the first time, when I was told to no longer walk) and I found out I'm not as strong as I thought I was.
But I never not want to dance again!!!

This actually made me cry. It reminded me of my mom, who passed away a year ago on November 26th. She love Pink a lot and even got to go to one of her concerts not long before her passing. This song reminded me so much of her because I remember her love of dancing, and her dancing to some songs while in the car or shopping at the store with me. I love this song I really do. Watching this makes me feel closer to my loves that left. My aunt the woman I could trust with all my secrets and who help me come out to my parents.
